　　USA: The US Department of Energy (DOE) has announced the availability of a further $63m to boost US production of heat pumps.

　　This investment from President Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act utilises the Defense Production Act (DPA) to increase domestic production of key clean energy technologies, including electric heat pumps.
